Data Collection and Use

To achieve product functionality and provide certain services, we will collect the following categories of information when you use our services:

Account Data: When you register an account or log in with the authorization of a third-party account such as a WeChat account or a Google account, we will collect and verify the account information you actively provide or authorize to provide, including your email address, openid, nickname, avatar, and other information. This account information will serve as your identity identifier, used for purposes such as logging in or verifying your identity for password recovery. We may also use your personal data to contact you and introduce products or services that we believe may interest you.
Interaction Data: When you interact with us through our online service forms, service email, or our social media accounts for feedback, complaints, inquiries, or service interactions, we will collect the personal data you choose to provide, such as your description of the issue, submitted attachments, contact information, and so on.
Functionality Data: We use Google Analytics to collect data on product functionality, such as device type, operating system version, browser version, product settings, feature click records, visited page addresses, service error logs, and other information. This type of data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify specific users.
IP address data: We may collect your IP address data to identify the country or region in which you are located so that we can provide better localized services.
Text translation data: When you use our translation function, the text content you want to translate will only be sent to the model of your selected for translation and processing.
Document/Image Translation Data: When you use the document/image translation function, we will collect the content (document/image) you submit, calculate and parse the content to extract the translatable text, and the extracted text will only be sent to the model you selected for translation and processing.

Data Collected by Artificial Intelligence Models and Third-Party Services

We only utilize third-party large language models or third-party translation services as translation engines and do not train our own artificial intelligence models. Therefore, we do not use your personal data in the training of our own artificial intelligence models.
For the translation engines (third-party large language models or third-party translation services) that you choose and use independently within the service, please refer to the privacy policies and terms of service of the respective translation engine providers for their data collection and usage terms.
When you use our PDF Plus document translation service, the PDF files you upload are transferred over an encrypted connection to our third-party service provider, Mathpix, for content parsing and format conversion to more accurately extract document information and generate text that can be translated. Once Mathpix has finished processing, the extracted content will be safely returned, and we will generate the translation results for you based on that content. We do not share or disclose your personal information with any companies, organizations, or individuals outside of our company. However, in certain special circumstances, we may share or disclose your personal data to third parties without further notice to you, including but not limited to the following situations:

Data Sharing: In order to meet business operation needs and execute certain service functions, we may need to collaborate with affiliated companies, vendors, and service providers (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Service Providers”), and may therefore share your personal data with these Service Providers, such as payment service providers, customer relationship management and customer support service providers, and third-party translation service providers. We will only allow them to process your personal data when we are confident that they have taken appropriate measures to protect your personal data.
