Online Meeting Subtitle Translation
Online Meeting Subtitle Translation is an extension of video subtitle translation. It provides real-time speech-to-subtitle conversion for meetings, enabling easy comprehension and seamless cross-language communication.
How to Use
- When joining a meeting on Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams, first enable the platform’s built-in captions feature. Then open the SelectTranslate extension panel and turn on Video Subtitle Translation.
- Taking Zoom as an example: after joining a meeting, click More, then select Closed Captions (CC) (the spoken language of you or other participants). Next, open the extension panel and enable Video Subtitle Translation—the spoken content will be translated into your target language in real time.
- In the meeting chat panel, you can also translate both incoming and outgoing messages.
- With the webpage translation feature, incoming meeting chat messages are displayed bilingually in real time.
- With the input translation feature, you can translate your reply into the recipient’s language with one click.
💡 When using subtitle translation, make sure the meeting platform’s built-in captions feature is enabled.
