MiniMax

The MiniMax model is a general-purpose AI language model developed by MiniMax.

This tutorial covers the API key application and configuration process for the MiniMax international site. For the China site, please refer to MiniMax.

Application and Setup Process

  1. Open MiniMax and sign up or log in.
  2. After signing in, go to the API keys page in the left-hand navigation menu and click Create new secret key.
  3. The extension’s model settings use the China site API endpoint by default. If you are using an international API key, please copy and use https://api.minimax.io/v1.
  4. Enter the API key into the API key field in the extension’s model settings. Once verified, it’s ready to use. For detailed steps, refer to the Models Configuration Process.
  5. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, you can submit them on the Feedback page.
💡 After the key is generated, be sure to copy and save it, as you won’t be able to view it again in your MiniMax account.
