Kimi is an AI language model developed by Moonshot AI.
This tutorial covers how to apply for and configure an API key on the Moonshot AI international site. For the China version, please refer to Kimi。

Application and Setup Process
- Open Moonshot AI and sign up or log in.
- After signing in, go to the API Key Management page and click Create API Key to create your API key.
- The extension’s model settings use the China site API endpoint by default. If you are using an international API key, please copy and use
https://api.moonshot.ai/v1/chat/completions。 - Enter the API key into the API key field in the extension’s model settings. Once verified, it’s ready to use. For detailed steps, refer to the Models Configuration Process.
- If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, you can submit them on the Feedback page.
⚠️ After the key is generated, be sure to copy and save it, as you won’t be able to view it again in your Moonshot AI account.
