Application and Setup Process
- Open Grok and sign up or log in.
- After logging in, click Return to Cloud Console in the bottom-left corner to go to the console.
- On the API Keys page, click Create API Key to generate a new API key.
- Enter the API key into the API key field in the extension’s model settings. Once verified, it’s ready to use. For detailed steps, refer to the Models Configuration Process.
- If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, you can submit them on the Feedback page.
⚠️ Make sure the API key you create has permission to perform the intended actions, and that the new team has Grok credits or a valid license; otherwise, a 403 error will be returned, indicating insufficient API key permissions.
💡 After creating an API key, be sure to copy it immediately, as you won’t be able to view it again.
